IDK and XanMan Deliver Quarantine-Bound Visuals for "RILEY"
The second song to Kevin Durant’s sports documentary soundtrack.
IDK and XanMan have delivered new visuals for the single “RILEY,” after just releasing IDK & FRIENDS 2, the soundtrack to Kevin Durant‘s sports documentary BASKETBALL COUNTY: In The Water.
The track is the second song on the LP, featuring a grisly midtempo beat that sets the tone for the rest of the album. Measuring at approximately two minutes and a half, the instrumentals of the song have been kept minimal throughout its entirety: just a ghoulish piano riff complemented by 808 basslines and light percussions. The beat works to place extra emphasis on IDK and XanMan’s charismatic flow, delivering lines like “B*tch, I’m not a human being, I’m a walking Micheal Myers movie scene” and “Big four of Wock’, we ain’t sippin’ on whiskey / Pull up with a Fendi, they call me Ulysses.” Amid COVID-19 lockdowns, visuals for the song were set at a suburban backyard basketball court, reeling through cuts of a group of friends playing basketball under the sun to pass the time.
