Lakers Reportedly Looking to Sign J.R. Smith For 2019-2020 Season Restart
Expected to replace Avery Bradley.

As the official restart of the NBA 2019-2020 Season approaches, reports are now noting that the Los Angeles Lakers are now looking to sign J.R. Smith as a replacement player. The Lakers have been scrambling to find a free agent to replace Avery Bradley, who opted out of the resumption plan at Disney‘s Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando.
Looking to maintain its tough perimeter defense and reliable 3-point shooting, the franchise now has its sights set on Smith as he has experience playing with LeBron James during his time with Cleveland Cavaliers. Despite being known as a spot-up shooter, Smith has not played professional basketball since 2018, leaving his effectiveness with the squad quite unknown.
