Good News Unveils Eco-Friendly FW20 Collection
Natural tie-dyes, biodegradable rubber and organic cottons.
Good News has launched its latest footwear collection for Fall/Winter 2020, an eco-friendly release from a label that strives to promote a healthy and sustainable planet.
Since its founding, the London-based brand has championed environmental and social sustainability in all its releases, ensuring its carbon, chemical and water footprints are as minimal as possible, and that it remains committed to fair trade throughout its supply train.
For FW20, the brand has introduced a new derby loafer and a lace-up moccasin, each crafted using fully recycled outsoles, with natural tie-dyes and plush organic cotton corduroy. Another recyclable sole comes on a new sneaker silhouette, while vegetable jute and heavy-duty organic cotton in warm Autumnal tones feature throughout.
Aside from ensuring its materials are environmentally and socially progressive, Good News also aims to tackle fashion’s wastage issues by raising awareness through its own product, and by donating its own deadstock to homeless people and refugees in need of shoes.
The full FW20 footwear collection is expected late July, 2020, from the Good News web store.
