Ducati's Hypermotard 950 Concept Inspires Limited-Edition RVE
Only 100 examples made.

During the 2019 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, Italian performance motorcycle maker Ducati unveiled its Hypermotard 950 Concept to much popularity and attention, and now, the company has released a limited edition RVE inspired by that very concept.
Wrapped in graffiti-styled street art graphics, Ducati has painstakingly employed a complex painting process alongside delicate applications of extremely thin decals to give the motorcycle an airbrushed look, making it a truly unique creation. “Wanting to transfer the same manufacturing quality of the concept bike from which it derives to the production motorcycle, it was necessary in the painting phases, to employ highly skilled labor, use very low thickness decals, and adopt a particularly long and complex process,” says a Ducati spokespoerson. “The result is comparable to that of an airbrushed bodywork.”
Performance-wise, the bike is powered by a roaring twin-cylinder 937cc Testastretta 11” engine that can push out 114 horsepower and 70 pound-feet of torque. Other standard features include Ducati Quick Shift Up and Down EVO, Ducati Traction Control EVO, and Ducati Wheelie Control EVO.
Limited to just 100 badge-numbered units made, Ducati’s limited edition Hypermotard 950 RVE will hit American dealers in July at a price of $14,195 USD.
