DAIRIKU Turns to Grunge and Americana Influences for FW20
With a touch of semi-tailored refinement.

DAIRIKU has delivered its Fall/Winter 2020 lookbook, highlighting an expansive range of garments imbued with grunge and Americana influences. This follows the Japanese label’s heavily-layered FW19 “American Dream” collection unveiled last year.
Dubbed “New Hollywood,” the new assemblage includes a bevy of loosely tailored silhouettes, like sleek leather blazers, oversized suits, Western-style button-ups, peacoats, knit sweaters, field jackets and pleated trousers, to mention a few. Pieces like the distressed olive knit sweater and hand-drawn denim pants demonstrate the brand’s affinity for disheveled grunge inspirations, while garments like oversized wool peacoats and spread-collar shirts add a slight sense of sartorial refinement to the collection. Other noteworthy pieces like the light blue embroidered zip-up jacket, chore coat, black leather jacket and olive field pants round up the dynamic range.
Though no official release dates have been revealed yet, DAIRIKU’s FW20 collection is expected to land soon on select retailers like Lieu.
