Bandai SPIRITS and Nissin Put Together a Plastic Cup Noodle Model

After releasing Sony PlayStation and SEGA Saturn models, Bandai SPIRITS has now teamed up with Nissin on a plastic Cup Noodle Model. Part of Bandai‘s “Best Hit Chronicle” series, the model of the iconic instant noodle is the latest in the line that celebrates revolutionary products with an assembled model.

Capturing the unmistakable styrofoam packaging of Cup Noodles, the 1:1 model was created from a 3D scan of an on the shelf offering to accurately represent the cup, noodles and flavoring accouterments. The meticulous scan resulted in a model that breaks down the instant noodle into multiple components and color separated elements. According to Nissin, the model can be constructed in just three minutes just like an edible Cup Noodle package.

Priced at ¥2,420 JPY (approximately $22 USD), the Bandai SPIRITS Nissin Cup Noodle Model is set to release September 18. Head over to Nissin’s website to learn more about the collaboration.
