ASICS GEL-1090 Receives Retro "Blue Coast" Makeover
Rendered with sleek, sharp gradients.
ASICS has unveiled a brand new iteration of its GEL-1090. Following a “Triple Black” colorway from two months ago, the Japanese footwear label has opted for a crisp “Blue Coast” rendition of the silhouette this time around.
Starting at the top of the shoe is an embroidered “GEL-1090” label, complemented by a small patch logo at the tongue. Most of the uppers come in intricately woven mesh, offset by hits of contrasting leather accents along the eyelet panels, sidewalls, rear quarter and toecap. Light blue highlights appear at the shoe’s side stripes, accompanied by smooth red gradations. All of these details rest over an articulated white midsole, detailed with a gradient GEL-cushioned heel piece that offers optimal comfort and support.
