Utah-based sneaker brand ALTRA has introduced two new silhouettes as a part of its Fall/Winter 2020 collection, entitled the OLYMPUS 4 and LONE PEAK 4.5.

Renowned for its unique look and performance-led design, ALTRA has been steadily establishing a global following for its functional footwear. By dismantling traditional performance shoes, removing any unnecessary features and adding in new innovative technology, ALTRA aims to not only enhance comfort and performance, but to urge its wearers to walk naturally too.

Thanks to years of research the brand has introduced “Zero Drop,” a reduction on the heel gap that creates a more stable shoe and enhances ankle support and forces the foot to move in a natural way. Each sneaker also features “Foot Shape,” a specially-designed foot bed that creates a wider space for movement of the forefoot.

Each coming in two colorways, the OLYMPUS 4 has been designed for mid-to-long distances cross-country races or long hikes, while the LONE PEAK 4.5 has a more flexible and agile reaction, with a strong grip and a quick-drying upper, ideal for shorter, more intense activities.

The price and release date are still to be announced, but expect them to drop via the ALTRA web store.

In other news, New Balance has released two new colorways of its X-Racer sneaker.
