6LACK Shows Off His Versatility With '6pc Hot' EP
A stunning six-track offering from GRAMMY nominee.

6LACK has dropped off his first project in two years, 6pc Hot. An ode to his upbringing in Atlanta, the EP is inspired by the many meanings of his life number, 6, notably his area of Zone 6 and his daughter named Syx. To add to the authenticity, the title is derived from a menu item of his favorite Hot Wings spot in ATL, where he also shot the cover art.
Clocking in at just under 20 minutes, the six-track EP hears the crooner at his best yet. 6LACK’s safe space may be in the realm of R&B, but the adaptability of his voice can place him just about anywhere. The obvious contrasts in the project’s sonic plane, from the trap-infused Lil Baby-assisted cut “Know My Rights” to the solemn, piano-based closer “Outside,” paired with 6LACK’s relatable lyricism highlights the artistry that he continues to hone, keeping fans excited for his next full-length.

Elsewhere in music, Fabolous and Jadakiss are set to appear on the next episode of VERZUZ.
