The 1975 Celebrates Friendship With New Single "Guys"
‘Notes On a Conditional Form’ drops May 22.
The 1975 has dropped off their newest single “Guys,” taken from their upcoming album Notes On a Conditional Form. Clocking in at exactly four minutes and 30 seconds, the latest cut previously saw its live debut and hears Matty Healy reflecting on the band’s friendship and brotherhood. The sentimental cut takes a look at the four-piece’s journey that began in the early 2000s and where it’s taken them after almost two decades, with Healy ending the track with the line, “You guys are the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
Notes On a Conditional Form follows their 2018 album A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships. The 22-track album includes previous singles like “Birthday Party” and “Me & You Together Song” and is scheduled to drop May 22.
