Braille Skateboarding Rides Apple's $700 USD Mac Pro Wheels
“Are these the best skateboard wheels ever?!”
Braille Skateboarding follows in the footsteps of Unbox Therapy in testing just how well Apple‘s $700 USD Mac Pro Wheels perform as skateboard wheels. While skateboarding is not Unbox Therapy’s forte, he did create a nice futuristic metal rig that rolled around smoothly, but as Braille is known for skating some of the most outside-of-the-box setups, this undertaking seems more in their wheelhouse.
Fixing the aluminum wheels to a skateboard deck, the team attempts a number of tricks including and ollie, kickflip, and dropping in on a mini ramp. The wheels’ 360-degree design proves to be a challenge for the team as they can be seen slipping and sliding on their indoor skatepark’s floor. Things eventually pick up when they fix the wheels to a set of trucks.
