Lucas Puig, Stephen Khou, and Clement Brunel’s skateboarding imprint Hélas has returned for Spring 2020, delivering an extensive collection of graphic-heavy staples and more.

This season, the trio wanted to take fans of the brand on a trip down memory lane to the days of their youth, exuding a care-free attitude with little to worry about. This very message is reflected in its Maxime Verret-shot lookbook, which takes place in a Parisian mall and enlists the brand’s skateboarders to “mess up the consumer society, its rules and its domination.”

There are a number of standout pieces in the Spring 2020 collection, many of which are referential or sport symbols that are synonymous with the brand. T-shirts include one depicting Bonnie and Clyde — the criminal couple who toured the U.S. with their gang in the Great Depression — while others appear with sporting motifs, such as the Peps T-shirt which combines Hélas branding with piping and two-tone colorways.

Other references to gangs include the Gang tracksuit, which is available in black or camouflage, and is complete with the label’s signature umbrella motif. Elsewhere, Hélas presents a range of caps, a pair of pajamas, and a deck of aptly-branded playing cards.

Check out Hélas’ Spring 2020 collection in the lookbook above, and be sure to pick up your favorite pieces from Hélas’ website when everything drops on May 20.

In case you missed it, here’s Cav Empt’s 15th SS20 drop.
