WACKO MARIA Reworks Classic PRO-KEDS With Premium Materials
Coming in “Gray Python” and “Suede.”
WACKO MARIA has reworked a set of classic PRO-KEDS with premium materials. Following its leopard-clad collaboration with Dickies, the Japanese label has opted for gray python and dark burgundy makeover for the Royal Plus — “Gray Python” and “Suede.”
The former model boasts scaly faux snakeskin throughout the uppers. It comes with a bevy of contrasting details like a crisp white leather heel counter, white laces and white double stripes at the sidewalls. PRO-KEDS’ signature red-blue highlight appears around the front lateral side of the midsole, finishing off the retro sneakers with a bold accent. The shoe’s wine-colored counterpart is covered in premium suede. It sees a supple texture that accentuates the shoe’s sleek mold, while other features like the aforementioned white leather details round up the shoe.
WACKO MARIA and PRO-KEDS’ sneakers will be available on May 23 on WACKO MARIA’s website for aprxoimately $185 USD.
