Pi'erre Bourne Explores Tokyo in "Feds" Music Video
A cut from his 2019 project, ‘The Life of Pi’erre 4.’
Pi’erre Bourne is revisiting his 2019 album The Life of Pi’erre 4 with an accompanying music video for “Feds.” Shot in Japan, the visual sees a mix of animation and special effects as he explores Tokyo.
“I went to Japan last year to work with Kanye on the Jesus Is King album. And he left for Sunday Service, I think. I had a lot of extra time, and my album just recently came out while I was out there. So we went to different places and tried to shoot as many videos for the album,” he said in a recent interview. “I have a couple more videos that we shot in Japan, but this is the first one that we’ll be showing everybody. It was pretty cool. We shot with different cameras, like a 4K camera and a Super 8 and a Camcorder. We had different aesthetics for the video, that’s what I aim for. I’m really into my music videos, and I’m very particular on how I want them to look. I also really fell in love with Japan. Tokyo reminds me of New York a lot. I think that’s why I really fell in love with it.”
