Khruangbin Shares New 'Mordechai' Cut "So We Won't Forget"
The trio’s forthcoming album drops June 2020.
Houston-based trio Khruangbin, composed of Laura Lee Ochoa, Mark Speer and Donald “DJ” Johnson, has dropped off a new cut, “So We Won’t Forget.”
The second single off their forthcoming album Mordechai, the song follows “Time (You and I)” and offers soothing guitar and light-stepping percussion. The accompanying music video is helmed by Scott Dungate and co-produced by Wieden+Kennedy Tokyo x Nakama, and sees Ochoa filling her apartment with memories she’s put down on Post-its in an attempt to stop them from sleeping away.
“Memory is a powerful thing,” Khruangbin said in a statement. “Now more than ever it’s important to tell the people you love that you love them, so that they don’t forget.”
