Wrist Check: Conor McGregor Shows-Off Rare Green Patek Philippe Annual Calendar Chronograph
One-of-twenty five from Weir and Sons.
The “Notorious” Conor McGregor has just taken to Instagram to show off his latest addition to his watch collection. The rare watch in question is the Weir & Sons Patek Philippe Annual Calendar Chronograph Ref. 5905P. With just 25 examples made, the watch was created in celebration of the Dublin, Ireland family-run jewelry store’s 150-year anniversary, and its 50-year partnership with Patek Philippe.
The watch references the store’s Irish roots with a vibrant green dial and alligator strap. The platinum watch features Patek’s calibre CH 28-520 QA 42H movement and encompases an annual calendar complication as well as a chronograph. The best part of McGregor’s purchase is that he bought watch number 12 out of 25 — a nod towards his Porper 12 whiskey line. Take a look at the €90,500 EUR (approximately $99,300 USD) luxury timepiece below. Head over to Weir & Sons for more info.
