Alpina Watches Launches Customization Platform For The AlpinerX Alive Smartwatch

Geneva-based watchmaker Alpina presents an extension of its AlpinerX Smartwatch range in the form of the AlpinerX Alive timepiece, combining the traditional craft of watchmaking with a digital AMOLED touchscreen. The Swiss-made smartwatch stays loyal to the brand’s heritage and iconic design cues while offering insights into the user’s well-being and activity performance.

Alpina represents traditional Swiss watchmaking heritage, elevating its meticulous craftsmanship throughout the brand’s 137-year journey.

The AlpinerX Alive is equipped with modern features tailored to entice urban and athletic individuals; the watch encompasses an integrated heart rate monitoring sensor provided by Philips Technology, hydration tracking, a relaxing breathing exercise, weather forecast and GPS tracking. The AlpinerX Alive timepiece launches with a companion app available on iOS and Android. The app records the user’s data in a cloud-based in Switzerland, analyzes performance and tracks progress daily while providing valuable insight and feedback.

Alpina offers over 1,500 design options for personalization, utilizing an array of colors and materials to transform the watch. Members have the opportunity to customize their timepiece on the brand’s online configurator from the May 3rd  to June 2nd, however the offer excludes the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland and Japan. 

25 Euros from each of the AlpinerX Alive watches sold during the campaign will be donated to benefit Red Bull‘s Wings for Life Foundation, committed to finding a cure for spinal injuries. Alpina, a sponsor of their unfortunately cancelled charity run on May 3rd due to COVID-19, is now vowing to contribute more funds to support the charitable cause.
