Look Inside KAPITAL's SS20 "FLARE STAR" Catalog Shot by Eric Kvatek
Spotlighting workwear, bold denim pieces and much more.

Earlier last month, Japanese stalwart KAPITAL released its Spring/Summer 2020 catalog titled “FLARE STAR,” and now its photographer Eric Kvatek has offered a look inside the photographic publication.
Kvatek took to Da Nang and Hoi An in Vietnam with friends of his and locals modeling the latest season of garments. In true KAPITAL form, there’s plenty of workwear-indebted pieces, such as a denim Mackintosh coat that sports dual-button fastening and topstitched pockets, as well as a 60/40 Cross KAMAKURA anorak and the Kung Fu coverall.
Elsewhere, KAPITAL presents a variety of bone-covered pieces including a Hawaiian-styled shirt, a surfing wetsuit and more. Other graphic prints featured in the collection include denim garments covered in peace signs, while pieces ranging from hats to sweatshirts and jackets sport the brand’s signature smiley face emblem.
Take a look at the Eric Kvatek-shot KAPITAL “FLARE STAR” catalog in the gallery above, and pick up a copy for yourself on KAPITAL’s website, where you can also shop the entire SS20 collection.
In other news, Final Encore and Grailed have teamed up to release a 150-piece curated selection of vintage clothing.
