adidas is continuing its efforts to battle the Coronavirus (COVID-19) with the release of the washable Face Cover.

While the cover isn’t a medically graded nor a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) face mask, adidas notes that it can help in preventing the spread of viruses and germs through droplet transmission. The soft and breathable mask is crafted with layers of recycled polyester and elastane with stretchable ear straps for a tight and comfortable fit. Arriving in packs of three, the tonal black mask features a white logo stamp on the lower left side and the words “WASH.DRY.REUSE.” on the inside.

The Face Cover follows adidas and Carbon’s 3D-printed face shields from early April 2020. The two brands are producing over 18,000 units a week and uses the same material co-created for adidas’ 4D midsoles.

The adidas Face Cover is available now on adidas UK for £12.95 GBP (approximately $15 USD), with £2 GBP from every pack going to Save The Children’s Global Coronavirus Response Fund.
