Polo G Isolates at Home in New "DND" Visuals
“Do not disturb” the Chicago rapper.
Over the past few months, Polo G has reunited with Lil Tjay on “First Place” and teamed up with Stunna 4 Vegas and NLE Choppa for “Go Stupid.” Today, the Chicago rapper has released his new track, titled “DND,” along with accompanying visuals. The song, which stands for “Do Not Disturb,” sees Polo G rapping about isolation and betrayal over a WayneOnABeat-produced beat.
Directed by Jordan Wozy, the music video opens with Polo G sitting inside the comforts of his own home declining phone calls and counting dollar bills. Images surround him in a dizzying effect as he reminisces on the past and critiques today’s society. “Snakes in the grass, watch out for rats and all the feline/I cut everybody off, keep hittin’ decline,” Polo G raps. “I swear these painkillers got me on the deep vibe/Miss the old days, got me wishin’ I could rewind.” During this quarantine period, Polo has took to Instagram Live to talk to his followers, sharing unreleased music to tease his forthcoming release.
