Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 "Triple White" Is Ready for Summer
The no-fuss colorway emphasizes its technical details.
Originally returning to market by way of a coveted Stüssy collaboration and following this dashing debut up with clean-in line colorways, Nike‘s Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 is now set to continue its revival with a summer-ready “Triple White” style. Brisk and breezy, this simple-yet-effective Spiridon combines ’00s Nike Running flair with a classic tonal Nike Sportswear colorway.
Curved white leather overlays with an ever-so-slight sail tint sit atop a stripped-back mesh base, providing sporty tonal contrast. Branding is handled by midfoot Swooshes and a textured heel badge, with pops of hi-vis reflective material, sprinkled on forefoot and throat alike. Pull tabs ensure an easy fit to round off the top half.
Crisp white Phylite midsoles are cut away on the forefoot to show a dotted black and white pattern, with the heel cage that gives this Steven Smith-designed shoe its moniker dressed in an ultra-light grey. This structure encases a sizable Zoom Air unit, itself directly acknowledged by a small silver Zoom Air badge on the midsole’s heel. White BRS 1000 rubber outsoles complete the look.
The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 “Triple White” will release on Nike SNKRS JP come May 7, and retails for $140 USD.
