New Balance Releases Understated ML850 "Mono Pack"
Four monochromatic colorways in Gray, Navy, Smoky Pink, and Off-White.

After just announcing an “Animal Pack” for its 1500 silhouette, New Balance has now put together a sleek “Mono Pack” of its Rollbar-rocking ML850 model in four iterations: Gray, Navy, Smoky Pink, or Off-White.
The shoe brand’s signature 850 runner, which initially debuted in 1996 and later returned as a lifestyle model, features all of the brand’s high-tech additives, including its Abzorb midsole paired with C-CAP technology, as well as a rugged Rollbar posting system that’s been implemented to reduce rear-foot movement. For the “Mono Pack,” each shoe has been retrofitted in monochromatic colorways of Gray, Navy, Smoky Pink, or Off-White, with the bulk of the shoe’s upper fabricated from natural suede and mesh. Details include a rubber patch on the tongue sporting the model’s number, as well as embroidered “NB” branding that can be found throughout.
Take a detailed look at New Balance’s ML850 “Mono Pack” above. All shoes are currently available via New Balance Japan’s webstore for ¥12,980 JPY (approximately $120 USD). A stateside release has yet to be revealed but will likely come sooner rather than later on newbalance.com.
