NAPA by Martine Rose FW20 Channels Retro Velour Chic
Sporty branding, bold patterns and plenty of exaggerated silhouettes.

The ever-busy Martine Rose continues her seasonal NAPA line with a fresh array of bright and patterned cold weather layering pieces for Fall/Winter 2020. Napapijri staples are reinvented, with plenty of other cozy staples updated with Rose’s playful touch.
Motifs from previous seasons reappear in the new range, including adjustable parkas with tremendous hoods and paneled and printed fleece jackets, offered in muted beige tones or accented with bold blue. Extra-fuzzy fleece vests and printed long-sleeve shirts encourage dynamic styling, alternatives to the immense outerwear pieces when the weather isn’t as frigid. An expansive selection of enormous velour pants — all executed in bright shades like yellow and red — feature center seams to amplify the retro flavor afforded by throwback branding seen throughout, complementing the graphic-laden quarter-zip pullovers.
Expect the Fall/Winter 2020 range to hit stockists like SSENSE later this year.
Plenty of slouchy sportswear styling appears in other seasonal editorials, including thisisneverthat’s latest selection of SS20 shots.
