Lance Skiiiwalker Taps Nick Hakim for New Single "In the World"
The TDE signee’s first new song in nearly four years.

It’s been nearly four years since Lance Skiiiwalker released his debut album Introverted Initiation. The Top Dawg Entertainment signee has since been hiding in the shadows, returning to the musical sphere earlier this March with a psychedelic remake of Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy.” However, today Lance has teamed up with Nick Hakim for a brand new single titled “In the World,” a groovy laidback tune that offers a bit of hope for these tumultuous times.
Presumably an ongoing extension of TDE’s Fan Appreciation Week which began last week, the single is a welcomed accompaniment to the label’s growing discography. On the track, Lance and Hakim offload their melodious deliveries, gliding over a funky, jazz-heavy backdrop from FRGN-SPCMN, whereby subdued retro synths echo alongside saxophone chords, snappy snares, and more.
