Samsung Leaks Suggest New Smartphone With Pop-Up Camera
Likely to be part of the Galaxy A series.
According to new leaks online, South Korean tech giant Samsung is now working on a smartphone with its own pop-up camera.
The new model is suggested to belong to the Galaxy A series and will follow in the footsteps of the previously-announced A80, which not only carries a swiveling camera but also a sliding one. The front largely resembles the OnePlus 7 Pro, with a pop-up front-facing camera on the top edge of the device. The screen measures in at 6.5 inches, though the bottom bezel appears to be slightly thicker than the 7 Pro. On the rear, you’ll find three lenses positioned by the upper left corner, as well as a fingerprint sensor near where your index finger would normally rest. There’s no information on what specs the new model would carry, but it’s said to measure 160.9 x 77 x 9.2mm and carry a USB-C port at the bottom next to the speaker and mic, with no audio jack.
