KOHH's Dogs Imprint Upcycles Shirts & Jackets With New Project
The Japanese rapper takes his love for vintage one step further.
Japanese rapper KOHH has delivered a new project from his Tokyo-based Dogs imprint titled “Dogs Remake.”As implied by the project’s name, the theme surrounding the sub-line is remade garments, whereby vintage products have been dismantled and upcycled into unique one-of-a-kind styles.
KOHH, a notorious vintage fashion aficionado, shared a bit about the project. “I thought I might be able to wear it by remodeling [the pieces], so I took them home, cut them in half with scissors, used a sewing machine to stitch them back together.” The various pieces are based on KOHH’s 50/50 split, utilizing various garments from T-shirts to jackets, all of which give off a collaged, patchwork aesthetic.
Take a detailed look at the pieces in the gallery above. They will be released on April 26 via the brand’s webstore, with prices ranging between ¥15,800 JPY and ¥29,800 JPY (approximately between $145 USD and $275 USD).
