New York-based plant design studio Bodega Rose has released a new vase modeled on an authentic mid-’90s Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag. In the past, Bodega Rose has created an Air Jordan 1 planter, and became virally known for its resin basketball planter.
This new LV-inspired vase is cast from jesmonite, which is poured over the handbag to pick up all of its details. As a result, the vase faithfully recreates the Speedy Bag’s look complete with the LV monogram, handles, zipper detailing and even the stitching all on show.
It is hand-made by the founder Olivia Rose and is designed to hold flowers or houseplants inside the vase’s zipper opening. The Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag vase is available in a limited quantity of just 10 units, and can be purchased from Bodega Rose’s website for $300 USD while stocks last.
In other news, Louis Vuitton has released its latest collection of homeware goods.
