Artek Tokyo Store Celebrates 1st Anniversary With Yu Nagaba Stool 60

Artek has just unveiled its Tokyo store’s first year anniversary release. Arriving in the form of Alvar Aalto’s coveted Stool 60, the three-legged birch wood stool has been treated with Japanese artist Yu Nagaba‘s illustrations.

Set for an April 24 release, the celebration will also include limited Arktek AMA500 and A201 Pendant Lights. On top of the release, Yu Nagaba will be hosting an Instagram Live painting session and offering up art prints.

Those interested can head over to Artek Japan where the Stool 60 will be dropping in limited quantity while the Pendant Lights are limited to one per customer. The stool is priced at ¥80,000 JPY ($740 USD) and the lights ¥132,000 ($1,225 USD).
