Yuketen has offered a full look at its expansive Spring/Summer 2020 lineup, following the previous FW19 showcase from back in October. The Yuki Matsuda-helmed footwear label makes every single shoe by hand out of its Maine-based factories in the US, committing between 96 to 120 hours to craft each pair.
The latest collection presents contemporary takes on traditional American silhouettes like moccasins, chukkas, worker boots, loafers, and low-cut Western dress shoes. One noteworthy piece is a woven moccasin made up of a series of leather straps and denim fabrics. Rich indigo accents appear at the tongue, heel support and toecap, complemented by thin light beige strips at the body. As a finishing note, the shoes come with single-stitched seams around the edges of the footbed, accompanied by a light brown midsole below. Another highlight is a pair of hazel-brown-toned loafers. It comes with darkened patina and silver-toned links at the tongue, popping out from the suede strap below. Other pieces like the suede triple-black moccasins, Chelsea boots, loafers, sandals, and high-cut DB boots round up the artisanal collection.
