Nintendo Direct Unveils A Squadron of New Games Coming to Switch
From titles like ‘Xenoblade Chronicles’ to ‘Bravely Default 2.’
The latest episode of the series Nintendo Direct has announced an expansive assembly of new games coming to the Switch console. It’s a great time for Nintendo to unveil the titles, considering the recently achieved sales records for Animal Crossing: New Horizon.
Running at approximately 29 minutes, the episode reels through a series of games that will be added to Switch’s title catalog, alongside updates and new characters to existing ones. The new presentation is quite generous with its clips, showing lengthy cut scenes and highlights of games like Xenoblade Chronicles, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the aforementioned Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Pokémon Sword and Shield, to name a few, offering a closer, much more detailed glimpse of the gameplay. The episode also covers storylines and brief synopses of other lesser-known games, like Catherine: Full Body or Shinsekai: Into the Depths. Of the unveiled projects, the only ones that are confirmed to release this year are Xenoblade Chronicles and Bravely Default 2.
