Huawei's Celia Voice Assistant Will Launch on Latest P40 Phone Series
Debuting with English, Spanish and French-speaking capabilities.

Huawei has joined the likes of Apple and Samsung by unveiling its own virtual voice assistant, Celia. The Siri and Bixby rival comes from the tech conglomerate as a response to its phones not being equipped with Google Assistant, instead offering in-house-built voice assistance.
At the moment, Celia only understands English, French, and Spanish. It’s Huawei’s global version of its already popular, Chinese-speaking Xiaoyi voice assistant, and will be able to help with a number of small tasks — similar to Siri’s launch capabilities. As such, Celia will provide you with updates on weather, texts, and calls, as well as set reminders and translate for you.
Huawei is expecting Celia to better the likes of Samsung’s Bixby voice assistant in the near future. Celia will launch when the EMUI 10.1 update rolls out alongside the P40 phone series on April 7.
In other news, Apple has equipped Siri with a coronavirus symptom questionnaire.
