EXCLUSIVE: Y-3 Boldly Reimagines Beachwear in Fourth SS20 Drop "Swim"

Y-3 returns for its fourth drop of Spring/Summer 2020 with its “Swim” collection, delivering a host of beach-ready necessities reimagined by Yohji Yamamoto.

Beachwear is combined with the diffusion label’s sporting heritage for “Swim,” delivering a selection of core items such as slides, sandals, tops and more that are defined by their lightweight materials, sheer fabrics and bold prints.

Some of the standout pieces from Y-3’s fourth seasonal drop is the beach bag — a blacked-out offering sporting bright orange branding, orange cord detailing and a detachable graphic-covered pouch — as well as the selection of slides. These footwear offerings are inspired by adidas’ iconic ADILETTE, giving the pair a plush footbed and a thick sole alongside signature colors such as black and orange.

Furthermore, Y-3 presents a windbreaker jacket that sports a multicolored geometric pattern all over its body, alongside Y-3 and Yohji Yamamoto branding, as well as accessories such as the black-and-white Y-3 “Big Towel.”
