Nike has unveiled its Zoom X Vista Grind, a silhouette with a distinctively chunky midsole made from recycled Zoom X foam. According to Nike, the new sneakers are packed with a responsive feel where “all that material in the midsole makes for a cushioned ride unlike any other.” This particular iteration embodies a rich “Night Aqua” colorway that sees a mix of softly gradated palettes for a dark, murky look.

Starting at the top of the silhouette is a woven “Nike” tab at the tip of the tongue, with mismatching colors on the mini-Swooshes. Sleek black piping traces the edges of the tongue and collars, complementing the zig-zag eyelet panels at the central forefoot. Set on thin batted semi-translucent uppers are a medley of deep purple, teal, navy and orange palettes, accented by a black molded heel support, large Swoosh at the sidewalls and reinforced toecap — mirroring all the misty tones is a skinny iridescent pull tab at the heel. All of these details rest over a massive geometric midsole that’s tinged in light cedar brown, topped off with a set of angular ridges and a thin icy outsole.

The Nike Zoom X Vista Grind “Night Aqua” will be available on March 21, 10 p.m. EST at Nike’s website for $170.
