tac:tac FW20 Blends Rich Fabrication and Daring Asymmetry
Adventurous silhouettes from the emerging Japanese brand.

tac:tac‘s singular vision of imposingly large silhouettes and repurposed militaria returns in strong form for Fall/Winter 2020. The must-know emerging Japanese brand has garnered a dedicated domestic following thanks to its adventurousness, maintaining the appeal with reliable attention to detail.
FW20 is indicative of a brand in its comfort zone, as tac:tac continues mining familiar territory by accenting staple silhouettes with new items. For instance, the label’s preferred cut of coat (huge, shapeless, wide) is reimagined with peak lapels, dolman shoulders and weightier winter fabrics, complementing the generously-cut overshirts and sweaters that also appear throughout. Trim tailoring and asymmetric denim complement the field jackets and drapey cargo pants, offsetting the military inspiration with custom textiles developed in-house.
