Snow Peak Announces Massive LAND STATION HAKUBA
The outdoors experts are launching a scenic adventure hotspot.

Snow Peak‘s focus on beautiful design and functional functional apparel is well-noted across the globe. These tenets co-mingle in its new LAND STATION HAKUBA outpost, the Japanese brand’s most adventurous undertaking to date.
In its native Japan, Snow Peak often hosts get-togethers with club members and group expeditions, fueling a familial attitude among its staff and customers. LAND STATION HAKUBA reinforces that communal attitude, bringing a host of Snow Peak’s familiar facets together under one roof. Snow Peak’s largest retail outpost in Japan co-mingles with a restaurant that serves local favorites, a special Starbucks Japan cafe, camping-friendly accommodations, event spaces and a tourist-friendly information center, all centralized in the humble village of Hakuba.
Perhaps best known as the host of the 1998 Winter Olympics, Hakuba’s compact size belies the immense opportunity for cold weather activities, with plenty of mountain resorts in the are that cater to hikers, skiiers, snowboarders and hot spring-seekers alike. LAND STATION HAKUBA is well-suited to become the hub of the the village’s tourist activities, with the much-smaller Snow Peak FIELD SUITE HAKUBA KITAONE KOGEN retail space already in place. A reliance on wood ensures that the facade and interior alike are homey and welcoming, with an emphasis on achieving balance amidst the organic surroundings.

Most recently, Snow Peak served up its latest partnership with TONEDTROUT.
