'Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash' Drops Fresh Trailer for Upcoming Film
Taking place before the events of the original ‘Mobile Suit: Gundam’ series.
Gundam fans will be delighted to learn that a new trilogy of films are arriving soon, based on the newer manga series Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash, and a fresh trailer for the upcoming first movie has just dropped.
Taking place before the events of the original Mobile Suit: Gundam back in 1979, the new trio of films will follow protagonist Hathaway Noa as he tries to save Earth 12 years after the Second Neo Zeon War. The Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon have agreed on a truce, but the former has plans to privatize the planet for the rich, which causes the uprising of a new terrorist organization named Mafty. The rebellion’s leader, Noa, happens to be the son of a celebrated Federation Colonel Bright Noa. The new films will see him piloting an experiment Gundam code-named RX-105 Ξ.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash is set to debut July 23. For now, check out the trailer above.
