Mac DeMarco Announces Two Upcoming Demo Albums
Leftover recordings, “demo versions” and outtakes.

Mac DeMarco has kept busy with a slew of projects as of late. Apart from endeavors like directing Iggy Pop’s music video for “Sonali” or producing The Voidz’s single “Did My Best,” the Canadian singer-songwriter has just announced two new demo albums.
Last year, Mac DeMarco released his full-length LP Here Comes the Cowboy, which has a runtime of 46 minutes with 13 songs. It’s a relatively substantial length for an LP, but fans will be able to listen to extra material with the upcoming demos. The first demo will be titled Here Comes the Cowboy Demos; the second, Other Here Comes the Cowboy Demos. As the titles imply, the compilations will be made up of leftover recordings, outtakes and “demo versions” of official tracks.
Both demos will be released through the indie rocker’s own label, slated to land on June 19.
