Lorn Channels 'Stranger Things' in Music Video for "TIMESINK"
Directed by frequent collaborator Pavel Brenner.
Experimental electronic musician Lorn, real name Marcos Ortega, has been pioneering the IDM sound for the past decade, releasing a variety of projects atop of creating soundtracks for the likes 2014’s Killzone Shadow Fall. Continuing in much of the same vein as Apex Twin, Burial, and Jon Hopkins, his tech-heavy dystopian sound is littered with melancholic undertones that toil between the lines of classical and electronic. After dropping off his most recent album, DROWN THE TRAITOR WITHIN, last year, Lorn has now returned with a brand new music video for project highlight “TIMESINK.”
The Pavel Brenner-directed visual for the song remains reminiscent of Stranger Things and The Goonies, following a lone boy as he rides his bike on a deserted forest road. He passes a range of abandoned vehicles and a road block before coming across two elks, prompting his right eye to bleed.
You can watch the visual for “TIMESINK” above.
