New Balance Updates 997S With Understated "Black/Neo Classic Blue" Colorway
Allowing its textured appeal to shine through.

After launching a vivid multi-colored option for its sporty 997S, New Balance has now followed up with a more understated “Black/Neo Classic Blue” colorway that showcases vibrant “Lava Red” accents perfect for the transitioning seasons.
The silhouette takes a more traditional black tone as its basis this time around, allowing its textural mesh, suede, and composite construction to shine through. Elevating the modernized take of the 997S are vibrant highlights coming in the form of “Neo Classic Blue” on its suede toecap as well as heel clip, creating a playful contrast with the “Lava Red” New Balance “N” logo emblazoned on the midfoot. The two colors also combine to make up the “997S” text adorning the tongue and grey insole, which then shares the same shade as the suede overlay at the heel. Completing the look is the brand’s own ENCAP Reveal midsole offering ample cushioning for a more comfortable wearing experience, dressed in neutral tones and wrapped by a classic crepe-colored outsole.
