A gloriously gloomy tribute to the Big Smoke.

After saluting Milan and Paris with Air Jordan 1 Mids and Air Jordan 1 Lows, Jordan Brand has turned its attention to another silhouette and city by readying a Mars 270 “London.” Seemingly inspired by the Big Smoke’s gloriously gloomy climate, these Mars 270 offer a dark colorway and premium materials.

Uppers use a simple combo of stark black and gray tones. However, the mix of materials is anything but straightforward. Gray leather is used on the mudguard, with supple black suede appearing on the toebox and Air Jordan 5-style quarter panels. Collars, tongues and throats equip various grey textile shades, with branded flair handled by silver midfoot Swooshes plus heel and tongue Jumpman logos.

An Air Jordan 6-style tab is present on the rear as well, while Air Max 270-style cushioning units ensure comfortable cushioning. The insoles provide the only deviation from the color palette with a refreshing shade of blue Each pair is completed by a special hangtag with debossed “LDN” branding.

The Jordan Mars 270 “London” will release on Nike SNKRS GB come March 7, and is priced at $160 USD.

For more from the Jumpman, take a look at the Air Jordan 3 “UNC” — a shoe with a crisp color scheme that’s inspired by Michael Jordan‘s alma mater.
