HVN Recruits TisaKorean For Lofi "Backhand" Visual
A high-energy offering from the Houston up-and-comer.
Earlier this February, rising Houston artist HVN introduced listeners to his world with his debut project, Welcome to Heaven, a high-energy offering that featured a roster of fellow Houston up-and-comers. Over the weekend he returned alongside TisaKorean for a new take on one of the project’s highlights, “Backhand,” offering up a lofi visual for the track.
Produced by No Friends and BROADDAY, the track and visual harkens back to the likes of Playboi Carti, Dash, and Maxo Kream’s iconic 2015 cut “FETTI,” relishing in Houston’s raw street energy as HVN delivers hard-nosed bars over a psychedelic, 808-clad backdrop. While TisaKorean doesn’t actually deliver any verses on the cut, fans can spot him giving the track a proper intro before HVN dives in.
