GR8 Unveils Boiler Room "CLUB20/20" Apparel Capsule
In collaboration with Tokyo-based DJ Lil Mofo.
Tokyo boutique GR8 has unveiled an exclusive capsule of Boiler Room merch. In collaboration with Tokyo-based DJ Lil Mofo, featured is a concise assemblage of graphic hoodies and T-shirts that have been artfully emblazoned with bold co-branding.
One noteworthy piece is a black hoodie that’s been placed at both the front and back. On the latter side is a large print of Boiler Room’s logo, with the words “CLUB2020” placed below next to two globe motifs and a list of cities the music platform frequents. Kanji characters for the word “Tokyo” are layered on top of the logo in a bright yellow print that mirrors the texture of spray paint. At the front of the piece, the same “Boiler Room” logo is placed at the upper left chest, while Lil Mofo’s signature is sprayed over “CLUB2020” at the right. Another highlight is a white T-shirt with the words “Tear the fascists down” etched at the chest — the back of the tee boasts five abstract motifs in different colors. Other pieces like socks and sweatpants round up the concise assemblage.
The Lil Mofo x Boiler Room “CLUB20/20” apparel capsule will be available at GR8’s website as well as its physical store on March 9.
