Raf Simons & Fred Perry Reunite for Subcultural-Inspired SS20 Capsule
Once again referencing the work of Gavin Watson.

Raf Simons and Fred Perry have reunited for another collection inspired by British subcultures and, particularly, the photography of Gavin Watson. Photography by Watson — who was also a reference point for Fall/Winter 2019 — appears blown up on archival Fred Perry pieces throughout the Spring/Summer 2020 collection, with a focus on subcultural history in the 1970s and ’80s.
Hoodies, workwear jackets and the iconic Fred Perry polo all feature in the collection, with additional touches including embroidered branding and a hanging Laurel Wreath also adorning the items. Other pieces in the collection, including long-sleeves and shirting, are more subtle, with the branding the only detailing on the items.
Take a look through the lookbook in the gallery above. The Raf Simons x Fred Perry SS20 collection is available now from the Fred Perry web store.
