Lil Gotit Delivers Scratchy Lo-Fi Visuals for "Slime Hood"
The first track off the LP ‘Superstar Creature.’
After unveiling a music video for “Addy Talk” two weeks ago, Lil Gotit is back with new visuals for the song “Slime Hood.” The track is the opener off the Atlanta rapper’s recently released LP Superstar Creature, featuring Slimelife Shawty.
Measuring at approximately two minutes and a half, the song features a smooth, mid-tempo trap beat produced by London On Da Track. Laced with crisp bass drums, harmonized chipmunk vocals and vibrant chord progressions, the instrumentals set the perfect stage for melodic verses from Lil Gotit. Notable lyrics include “Got it gon’ let it shoot, yeah, he gon’ blast off / And I’m with hood babies, they crazy, got they mask off” and “Rockin’ all white like the ’80s, yeah, hood baby, I’m caucasian.” Accompanying the song are scratchy lo-fi visuals, following Lil Gotit and his crew raiding an unguarded house — another perspective for the rich lyrical verses.
