doublet Drops Two-in-One "Magical Changed" Scarves
Made in Japan with 100% silk.
After dropping its lenticular snakeskin-Derbys, doublet has unveiled another set of noteworthy pieces from its SS20 lineup — reversible “Magical Changed” silk scarves in “Yellow/Multicolor” and “Red/Multicolor,” decorated with multiple patterns that the wearer can alternate.
First up is the “Yellow/Multicolor” colorway, embellished with intricately detailed motifs of horses and polo riders framed by gold belts and loops. Peering out at the bottom right corner of the scarf is a black and white houndstooth pattern of the reverse side that the wearer can pull to unfold. Flipping the scarf in its reverse and tucking in the exposed side, creamy-ecru polka-dots show up over a deep wine-tinted satin base that’s placed over the aforementioned houndstooth pattern. The “Red/Multicolor” version boasts the same imagery and patterns in a different color scheme: the side with the horses comes with red and blue accents, while the obverse sees an olive houndstooth pattern and red polka dots over a light ivory base.
The doublet “Magical Changed” Scarf is currently available at SSENSE for $340 USD.
