Final Trailer for 'Black Widow' Reveals Taskmaster as Leader of the Red Room
Also debuting a new poster for the film.
Marvel Studios released the final trailer for its upcoming Scarlett Johansson solo film Black Widow, showcasing Natasha’s previous connections before becoming an Avenger. The trailer also solidifies Taskmaster as the antagonist of the film, as it is revealed the character has taken over the assassination training facility called Red Room, corrupting other would-be Black Widows into doing his or her bidding.
It is now up to Natasha and her sister-in-arms Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh, also the future Black Widow in Marvel Comics continuity) to save their fellow KGB trainees. The trailer also showcases their makeshift family Red Guardian (Davoud Harbour) and Melina Vostokoff (Rachel Weisz) coming together despite their shaky past with one another to back them up. The new trailer also came with an accompanying poster that can be seen below.
