adidas‘s patented 4D technology is slowly becoming more affordable and accessible than ever before, thanks in large part to the 4D Run 1.0 — a shoe that’s now set to release in “Core Black/Cloud White” and “Cloud White/Core Black” colorways. Drawing inspiration from a time-tested adidas Originals classic, each fresh-yet-familiar style offers a perfect mix of new and old, practical and conceptual.

“Core Black/Cloud White” features a technical print on its upper, similar to past “Signal Coral” and “Footwear White” makeups. This dotted detail is dressed in black, and sits on top of a gray base layer. Synthetic black overlays, a white heel clip and white Three Stripe branding add layered detailing, with gold foil stamps appearing on heel and tongue alike. Digitally printed 4D midsoles in black complete the look.

On the other hand, “Cloud White/Core Black” opts to go crisp instead of technical, leaving its white upper completely free of patterns or prints. Most of the overlays are tonal, but black heel clips and Three Stripe embellishments add striking contrast. Much like its dark counterpart, the “Cloud White/Core Black” features gold heel and tongue stamps, while a signature “Aero Green” 4D midsole provides a finishing touch.

The adidas 4D Run 1.0 “Core Black/Cloud White” and “Cloud White/Core Black” will release on the adidas webstore come April 2, and each is priced at $220 USD.
