1017 ALYX 9SM's Invisible Leather Sneaker Gets Creamy "Camel" Makeover
Equipped with ombré details & a custom Vibram sole unit.
Matthew M. Williams‘ label 1017 ALYX 9SM continues with its line of technically-indebted sneakers with the release of the Invisible Leather Sneaker “Camel.”
This new colorway follows on from the triple-black iteration seen earlier this week, but maintains many of the same design elements throughout. One of the most notable components on the sneaker is its chunky custom Vibram sole unit that’s complete with an ombré underfoot insert and a large TPU heel in camel brown, coming together to provide stability and cushioning.
Leather and mesh have been used throughout the upper, developing a myriad of overlapping layers in black, white and various shades of light brown. A thick black rubber Vibram bumper wraps around the shoe, while minimalistic details such as “1017 ALYX 9SM” stamping on the medial rear-quarter round out the pair.
