BILLY's & Vans Craft Checkerboard Hi-Tech Ultrarange Exo LX

Shortly after unveiling their collaborative ERA 3RA and STYLE 53, Vans and Tokyo-based retailer BILLY’s have linked up once again. This time around, the two entities worked on a set of exclusive Vans Ultrarange Exo LXs, colored in white, purple and blue.
The silhouette sees a relatively flat build with a sleek toecap. Starting at the top of the shoes, thin ripstop pull tabs are placed at the tongue and heel, complemented by a supple inner nubuck lining. The upper eyelet panels are made up of lush suede, matching the textured heel counter and toebox. Placed at the body is a subtle checkerboard print that’s contrasted by a strike-through side stripe along the walls. All of these details sit atop a compact midsole with an UltraCush footbed, a lightweight cushioning technology to optimize absorption for high impact movement. As a final touch, the toecap has been treated with a semi-translucent overlay that helps keep the toes dry.
