DOUBLET Releases Its SS20 Faceout Clutch Bag & Tourist T-Shirts

Known for its dramatic concepts, DOUBLET has released its playful Spring/Summer 2020 Faceout Clutch Bag and Tourist T-Shirts. The items draw from the cut-out face boards often found at carnivals and other amusement situations.

Continuing the transformable garment theme it has established with previous seasons, the Japanese label created its Tourist T-Shirts centered around the Great Sphinx of Giza and Statue of Liberty monuments. The 100 percent cotton tops feature an oversized kimono-like silhouette marked with a full-body graphic of the recognizable statues and “YOUR FACE HERE” embroidery at the rear. Lifting the shoulder up and placing one’s face into the neck hole offers a unique playful wearing experience.

Following the same theme, the Faceout Clutch Bags are crafted of polyvinyl and feature designs modeled after Playboy and Time magazine. The designs found in the bag feature face cutouts that allow wearers to be their own cover star. Two zipper fastenings and dual pouch portions round up the design of the carrying items.
